HL Packaging Group is an expert in research and development of environmentally sustainable materials for Direct to Consumer packaging. 
As consumers, we rarely consider the environmental impact of something as small as a hang tag. Considering the quantity of clothing being produced today, hang tags actually generate a very significant amount of waste. This is especially problematic when they are made of composite materials that cannot be recycled. 
I created a simple option made from responsibly sourced fiber that can be dissolved in water once it has served its purpose.
The biggest challenge we faced was how to understand the differences between the different eco-claims that each vendor was making. I created a rating scale to help HL make internal decision on how to both choose materials and explain material choices to their brands.
