HL Packaging Group is an expert in research and development of environmentally sustainable materials for Direct to Consumer packaging. Its focus is to provide materials that can be practically used as a delivery container while being simply disposed of by the end consumer.

For the brands interested in full color printing, I developed an alternative corrugated box that is made from bamboo paper. Bamboo paper is naturally white, so it doesn't require added bleach like the traditional white paper.

The biggest challenge we faced was how to understand the differences between the different eco-claims that each vendor was making. I created a rating scale to help HL make internal decision on how to both choose materials and explain material choices to their brands.
