Saabi Markar is an industrial design professional in New York City. She has a passion for sustainable materials. In her professional and academic tenure, Saabi has worked with a wide range of companies focused on different areas of the supply chain including large U.S. based retailers, direct to consumer startups, and global factories. In addition to her formal education and experience in design, Saabi has a unique background in the application of advanced mathematics which she uses in her work every day. Saabi is passionate about making lasting change to the environmental impact of the global supply chain and creating a circular economy. Saabi holds a Master of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Temple University.
